Proper Context

OK, I feel I must put my previous post in it's proper context, so as not to place undue emphasis on things.

1) Works are not the object . . . pursuing God (in Jesus) through faith is the object
2) Pursuit of perfection is the method (sermon on the mount)
3) The result of faith in God as pursued by sermon on the mount lifestyle is shown through works.

Kris,
Just wanted to say I appreciate your honesty so much! Food for thought: how must Mike Bickle feel that he has set his heart to follow God for at least 30 years now and been contending for his brother's healing? His brother is still paralyzed. God has recently revealed to my own heart how quickly I will give up and give in to doubt. I believe we don't see the big things because we aren't patient enough to wait or resolved enough to contend until the answer comes. God is pleased that you are pressing on despite your emtions. Love, Ashlee

I like reading this. My Father-in-law had told me about Todd Bentley because he went to Florida to the revival. It's ironic to me that i hear about it from him and then again from you. It's also a little sad that i think it to be ironic. Anyway, I dismiss things from God too often... Maybe i should listen to this one.

I miss ya man and I am being blessed by your blog. Keep the Change coming freely. ~kris
